Goulash
- 2 lbs stewing beef
- 2 lbs onions (about 6)
- 1 ½ tbsp. Hungarian paprika
- couple tbsp. olive oil
Fry onions in oil. Cover the pot and cook for about ½ hour, stirring frequently, until very soft. Add paprika. Stir. Add beef. Cook for about an hour until beef is soft. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes or noodles. Add mushrooms about 10 mins. before the end if you want.
