Chocolate Chip Cookies
- ½ c. butter
-
- ½ c. brown sugar
-
- 1 egg
-
- 1 tsp. vanilla
-
- 1 ¼ c. flour
-
- ½ tsp. salt
-
- ½ tsp. soda
-
- 1 c. chocolate chips
-
- ½ c. chopped walnuts (optional)
)
Preheat oven to 375°. Cream butter in a Cuisinart or mixer. (See “tips and terms for baking” if you don’t know what creaming is). Add sugar. Add egg and vanilla and mix. Preheat over to 350° F. Place 3 c. of Mom’s Sneaky Everything Cookie Mix in a bowl. Add ½ c. softened butter, 2 eggs and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat together for about 2 mins or until well mixed. Stir in 1 c. chocolate chips. Roll into 1-inch balls, flatten slightly and place on greased cookie sheets. Bake for 12 to 15 mins or until cookies golden brown at edges. Add flour, salt, soda and mix. Stir in chips and nuts by hand (if you use a Cuisinart or mixer you will break all the nuts). Roll dough into little balls and place on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° F. for 12 minutes.
