Porridge
- 1/3 c. oatmeal per person
- ½ c. water per person
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: raisins, dried cranberries, roasted almonds (see roasted nuts), 1 tsp. almond extract or to taste, 1 tsp. vanilla or to taste
Put oatmeal, water and salt in microwavable dish. Cook in microwave at medium for 4 min. or till fully cooked. Optional: add raisins, dried cranberries, roasted almonds, almond extract, vanilla. Eat with milk or cream and brown sugar.
