Macaroons
- 2 egg whites
- pinch salt
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- ½ tsp. vanilla
- 1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ c. finely chopped nuts
Beat eggs whites until peaks form. Add sugar. Beat in vanilla. Fold in flour & nuts. Scoop tablespoons-worth & drop onto aluminum foil-lined (shiny side down) or parchment paper-lined baking sheets. Bake at 350° for 15 min. Peel cookies from foil and cool.
