Pat Watkins’ Christmas Pudding Sauce
- 1 c. brown sugar

- 3 tbsp flour

- 2 c. boiling water

- 2 tbsp butter

- 1 tsp vanilla or rum
Mix sugar and flour, and add boiling water. Cook in double boiler until no taste of raw starch. Remove and add butter and vanilla.
