Sourdough No Knead Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (5 oz.) whole wheat flour
  • 2 1/4 cups (11 oz.) white bread flour + additional 1/4 c. white flour (about)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 cups purified water
  • 1/2 cup starter

Method. Mix ingredients. Allow to rise for 14-18 hours. Add 1/4 c. flour and mix in. Allow to rest 15 minutes. Pour into a clay baker or Dutch oven in which you have sprinkled some corn meal. Allow to rise 2 hours. Bake at 450 for 1/2 hr. Remove lid. Bake another 15 minutes.

Actually, I realize I have modified the original recipe. Add 2 1/4 c. white all purpose flour and 1/2 c. starter.

I said you should sprinkle in corn starch. OOps another blOOper. Should be corn meal.
