Tom's Garlic Kale
- bunch kale
- couple cloves of garlic
- oil
- salt to taste
- sesame seeds
- acid (lemon juice, vinegar, etc.)
Slice the kale leaves off the pale green stems; discard the stems. Wash and then dry off water.
Heat oil in a wok or cast iron pan at medium/high high heat. Add kale and garlic at the same time and salt. You want it pretty hot to almost start to brown the kale.
Cook for a few minutes until kale begins to wilt. Cover pan with a lid, and remove from heat; allow to finish cooking off the heat.
Toss with sesame seeds and acid and serve.
