Creme Brulee
What you need
- 8 large egg yolks
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 c. heavy cream
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- t tsp turbinado sugar (or more, to taste)
What to do
Mix egg yolks and sugar. Heat cream until almost simmering. Slowly add to egg mixture. Add vanilla. Pour into small ramikins and bake at 250 for 1 hour in a hot bath. Refrigerate uncovered for 8 or more hours. Sprinkle with sugar and let guests flame their brulees with a torch!
This is enough for 8.
