Ninety-Minute Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients
3 1/4 c. flour
1 Tbl instant yeast
1/4 c. white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. water, 1/4 c. butter
1 egg
for inside the roll:
1. brown sugar
1 Tlb cinnamon
1/3 c. butter
1/2 c. raisens, walnuts to taste
Method
Set aside 1 c. flour. Mix flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
Heat milk, water, butter to 125-130 degrees F. Stir into dry indredients
Mix in egg. Add reserved flour.
Knead for 5 min. let rest 10 minutes
Roll dough into 12 X 9 inch rectangle
Mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and butter. Spread over dough. Sprinkle with raisens and nuts. Roll up. Cut into 12 equal pieces. Place cut side up in greased muffin cups. Place on baking sheet over shallow pant half-filled with boiling water. Let rise 20 min.
Bake at 375F for 20 min.
