Plutot Clafouti

Ingredients

3 eggs

1/2 c. granulated sugar + 2 Tbl

1/4 c. all purpose flour

1 c. milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 Tbl butter

12 ounces plutots, or  plums

2 Tbl brandy

2 Tbls icing sugar

Method

1. Beat together eggs and 1/2 c sugar. 

add flour, milk, vanilla, and 1 Tbl butter.

2. Process until smooth. Allow to sit for 30 min.

3. Halve plums, remove pits, Toss with remaining 2 Tbl sugar and pour brandy over. Marinate 30 min.

4. Brush pie plate with remaining butter. Lay plums cut side down in the dish. 

5. Whisk flour mixture, pour over  plums

6. Bake at 425 F for 15 minutes, lowever heat to 375 F. Bake 15-20 minutes, until slightly puffed but still wiggly in the middle.

7. Sprinkle with icing sugar. Serve warm.
