Teriyaki Steak
- 2 lbs boneless beef steak (or however much you’re making)
- 1 ¾ c. soy sauce
- ½ c. sugar
- ½ tsp. crushed garlic
- 1 tbsp grated fresh ginger or 2 tbsp minced dried ginger
Cut meat into smallish, but still steak-sized pieces. Place into deep bowl. In a pan, combine soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger. Heat just until sugar is dissolved then cool. Pour mixture over meat and marinate for as long as you can (at least an hour, overnight if possible). Remove meat from marinade and broil for about 5-7 min., then flip and broil another 5-7 min, or until done.
