Heat milk and butter to 125 °, add egg yolks, then mix into flour & yeast mixture. Add remaining c. flour and spread onto cookie sheet. Cover with plum halves. - . Topping - - - 5/8 c. flour - - 2 tbsp. sugar - - 1/8 c. butter - - ¼ c (1 oz.) ground almonds - - a little milk or egg white Blend topping ingredients in food processor. Spread over plums. Bake for ¾ hr. at 375°.
