Red Cabbage
<p><strong>Red Cabbage</strong></p>
<p>Ingredients:</p>
<p>1 head of red cabbage,</p>
<p>4 apples (you can use a mixture of Mac's, Granny Smiths, Ambrosia etc.)</p>
<p>1/2 c. raisins</p>
<p>1/2 tsp. salt</p>
<p>1/3 c. sugar</p>
<p>1/3 c. mild vinegar, balsamic or apple cider</p>
<p>Method:</p>
<p>Cut cabbage into quarters. Remove hard core. Shred pieces of cabbage in a food processor. Add chopped apples, raisins, salt, sugar and simmer for about half an hour. Taste. You may need to add more salt, vinegar, or sugar.</p>
