Coddling an egg is when you heat the egg up, but don’t cook it. This is used in Caesar salad dressing and some English dishes. Note: salmonella risk.
To make, first buy a slotted spoon. .
Boil water. Put egg on slotted spoon and hold in boiling water for 10 sec. Take out immediately.
